Animanage is operated by Tinyvine Ltd, a New Zealand company. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our practice management software.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including clinic details, staff accounts, patient records (animal patients and their owners), appointment data, and billing information. We also collect usage data and logs to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information
We use your data solely to provide the Animanage service: storing and retrieving records, sending appointment reminders, processing payments, and providing customer support. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data storage and security
Data is stored in AWS infrastructure in the Asia Pacific (Sydney) region. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel.
Patient and owner records
Records entered into Animanage (animal patient details, owner contact information, medical notes) belong to your clinic. You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us.
Third-party services
We use the following sub-processors: AWS (infrastructure), Auth0 (authentication), Stripe (payments), and Twilio (SMS reminders). Each processes data only as needed to deliver their service.
Cookies
The marketing site uses PostHog for anonymous analytics. The application uses Auth0 session cookies for authentication. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you or your clients, consistent with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@animanage.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
